1. Our commitment
Private ADHD Assessment Doncaster Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealings and relationships. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking.
Although we understand that smaller organisations may not always be legally required to publish a statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we recognise the importance of transparency and are publishing this statement to demonstrate our commitment to preventing modern slavery within our business and, so far as reasonably possible, within our supply chains.
2. Our organisation
Private ADHD Assessment Doncaster Ltd is an independent healthcare provider offering ADHD assessment and related support services. Our work is primarily delivered within the United Kingdom.
Our business structure is relatively small and service-based. We do not operate complex manufacturing or overseas production arrangements. Our supply chains are therefore limited and mainly relate to professional services, office systems, IT and software providers, utilities, clinical and administrative support functions, training, accountancy, insurance, and other business suppliers.
3. Our policies
We are committed to maintaining policies and procedures that support lawful, ethical and fair working practices. These include, where appropriate:
-
recruitment and right to work checks
-
fair pay and lawful employment practices
-
safeguarding and professional conduct expectations
-
whistleblowing and reporting of concerns
-
data protection and confidentiality procedures
-
supplier engagement based on lawful and ethical business conduct
We expect any third parties we engage with to operate in a manner consistent with applicable employment, safeguarding and anti-slavery legislation.
4. Due diligence in relation to modern slavery
As a small UK healthcare provider with a limited supply chain, our approach to due diligence is proportionate to the size and nature of the organisation. Our due diligence measures may include:
-
working primarily with known UK-based suppliers where possible
-
checking that suppliers appear legitimate, established and appropriate for the services provided
-
reviewing publicly available supplier information where relevant
-
seeking assurances, policies, or contractual commitments from suppliers where appropriate and proportionate
-
avoiding business relationships where concerns arise about unethical or unlawful practices
We do not knowingly enter into business with any organisation involved in slavery, servitude, forced labour or human trafficking.
5. Risk assessment and management
We consider the overall risk of modern slavery in our direct business operations to be low due to the nature of our services, the fact that we operate in the UK, and our relatively simple supply chain.
Potential areas of risk may include outsourced or third-party services, technology or office-related suppliers, and any future growth in procurement arrangements. We aim to manage these risks by using reputable providers and addressing concerns if they arise.
Where we identify any credible concern relating to modern slavery or exploitative practices, we will review the relationship and take appropriate action.
6. Effectiveness and monitoring
We assess the effectiveness of our approach by:
-
reviewing our suppliers and business relationships on an ongoing basis where appropriate
-
considering any concerns raised by staff, contractors or stakeholders
-
reviewing this statement periodically and updating it as our business develops
-
strengthening our processes where we identify gaps or new risks
To date, we are not aware of any incidents of modern slavery within our business or direct supply chain.
7. Training and awareness
We aim to ensure that relevant staff and associates understand the importance of identifying and reporting concerns related to modern slavery, exploitation and safeguarding.
As the organisation grows, we will continue to review what level of formal training is proportionate and appropriate for our workforce and service model.
8. Future actions
Over the next review period, we intend to continue developing our compliance arrangements by:
-
keeping this statement under review
-
strengthening supplier checks where proportionate
-
ensuring modern slavery awareness remains part of good governance and safeguarding practice
-
updating our website publication as required
9. Approval
This statement has been approved by the Director of Private ADHD Assessment Doncaster Ltd and will be reviewed annually.
