Commitment to achieving Net Zero

Private ADHD Assessment Doncaster Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero carbon emissions by 2040.

Baseline emissions footprint

As a small healthcare provider, our direct emissions are limited and primarily relate to:

• Business travel (e.g. travel to clinic locations or meetings)

• Energy use within office/clinical spaces

• IT equipment and digital systems

• Purchased goods and services

We are in the process of developing a more detailed baseline measurement as our service grows.

Current emissions reporting

Due to the size and nature of the organisation, a full carbon footprint assessment has not yet been formally quantified. However, we are committed to improving measurement and reporting over time in line with NHS and UK Government guidance.

Emissions reduction measures

We are taking proportionate steps to reduce our environmental impact, including:

• Offering remote/video assessments to reduce travel emissions

• Using digital documentation and secure electronic systems to minimise paper use

• Selecting energy-efficient IT equipment where possible

• Using UK-based suppliers where appropriate

• Minimising unnecessary travel and encouraging efficient scheduling

Future initiatives

Over the next reporting periods, we aim to:

• Improve measurement of our carbon footprint

• Introduce more structured tracking of emissions

• Review supplier sustainability practices where proportionate

• Continue reducing travel-related emissions

Governance

Responsibility for carbon reduction sits with the Director. This plan will be reviewed annually and updated as the organisation develops.

Declaration and sign-off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance.
