Adult (18+) Diagnostic ADHD Assessment – Face to Face Our Adult ADHD Assessment offers a clear, compassionate and clinically robust diagnostic process at our Doncaster clinic. This assessment is aligned with NICE guidance and uses a structured, evidence-informed approach. The resulting report can be shared with GPs, NHS services, universities, workplaces and other providers; however, each receiving organisation applies its own criteria and acceptance cannot be guaranteed. You will be assessed by Frank, a Mental Health Nurse with over 20 years of clinical experience, including specialist neurodevelopmental training within NHS CAMHS. Our assessments use structured clinical processes aligned with relevant professional guidance and include multidisciplinary clinical input. Any diagnostic outcome is based on the full evidence available and clinical judgement. What’s included: • Full ADHD diagnostic assessment aligned with NICE guidance • Detailed developmental history exploring lifelong symptoms • Structured clinical interview using the DIVA-5 • Screening for co-existing difficulties such as anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation and executive functioning challenges • Review of previous reports or school information where available • Input from someone who knows you well, where appropriate and available • A detailed diagnostic report that can be shared with GPs, NHS services, education providers and workplaces • Practical recommendations for work, study and daily life • Guidance on medication pathways and shared-care processes Medication: If medication is being considered, we will explain the appropriate NHS and private pathways. Where clinically appropriate, private medication initiation and titration appointments are available separately. NHS prescribing and shared care remain decisions for the relevant clinician or GP practice and cannot be guaranteed.
