Medication Prescription Only Appointment This appointment is for patients who are already prescribed ADHD medication and have been taking the same medication and dose for at least one month. This service is suitable if you are stable on your current dose, are not experiencing significant side effects, and do not require a medication review, dose change, or medication change. The purpose of the appointment is to complete a brief safety check and, where clinically appropriate, issue a further prescription so that treatment can continue. During the appointment, we may review your current medication, dose, response to treatment, side effects, sleep, appetite, mood, blood pressure, pulse, weight, and any relevant changes to your physical or mental health. Please note that prescriptions remain subject to clinical judgement and safe prescribing requirements. A prescription cannot be guaranteed if there are concerns regarding side effects, health changes, missed monitoring information, medication misuse, or if a fuller medication review is required. This appointment is not suitable if you are requesting a dose increase, dose reduction, medication change, restarting medication after a break, or if you have new concerns about your medication. In these circumstances, please book a medication review/titration appointment instead. Melatonin Clinic patients: if you have diagnosed ADHD, the clinician has approved ongoing treatment and you are stable, you may use this £65 repeat-prescription service. A £100 Melatonin Clinic review is required every three months. Repeat prescribing remains subject to clinical approval; book a clinic review if one is due or your treatment or health has changed.
